(B5) MEDIEVAL MANUSCRIPT ILLUMINATIONS - RESEARCH

In a lot of medieval manuscripts, these illuminations are present at the beginning of chapters or paragraphs. It is most common in religious books and scrolls and goes hand-in-hand with the gothic style. Often these decorated letters would be painted in precious metals.

Like the embellishment I produced before, I thought by adding something like these illuminations will just add the final touches and give the impression of the gothic style.

Gothic style can vary depending on location, age and the type of building (the purpose as such).
