(B6) PHOTOGRAHIC EXPERIMENTS

  • In the first year when we had a similar brief to this, I used a lot of collages and used the Threshold tool to manipulate photographs 
  • I found a lot of images associated with the Alt Metal scene and decided to use the Threshold tool on them and colourise them with the red and purple we chose before
  • The barbed wire and skulls looked very interesting, I think they could be effective additions to some of the merch (quite in fashion at the moment) as well as the other deliverables
  • If we ended up developing the Chladni patterns, I would assume they would be full bleed. However, it might be worth using these to split the design up? 
  • Or I could try making a range of collages with these?

(B5) GOTHIC ARCHITECTURE: KEY TERMINOLOGY

In order to understand the texts related to Gothic architecture, I really need to understand the terminology as I aforementioned when looking at the previous text. I will be listing definitions along the way to better understand.
