(B5) RESEARCH BRIEF

I decided to create a proposal/ design strategy for this brief in a similar we did for Context of Practice 3. It was helpful when organising the entire project especially considering the scale of it. I wanted to approach this in the same way because last year when we did a research project, I focused solely on the design and lacked a lot of the research. 

I also think it would be a good source to refer to so, that I remain precise and on point with the context of the project (I have a tendency to go off track completely). The resources page was really important because I would come across books or websites that will be helpful and forget about them or have to research them straight away. I also set it into the sort of aesthetic/ tone I want the outcomes to follow.

Gothic style can vary depending on location, age and the type of building (the purpose as such). (B5) GOTHIC ARCHITECTURE: KEY TERMINOLOGY

In order to understand the texts related to Gothic architecture, I really need to understand the terminology as I aforementioned when looking at the previous text. I will be listing definitions along the way to better understand.
