ABOUT
“We’re Linney. A sixth-generation, world-class, multichannel marketing services group.” Linney is split into four main sectors, Evaluate, Create, Make and Activate. Linney began as a small book shop in Mansfield all the way back in 1851 with William Linney. Now the base of Linney’s, spans over 35 acres, the LINNEY base is huge. They have been a part of Mansfield since then and the name is known to all around Nottinghamshire and well known across the globe.
LOGO
The name has always been displayed in the serif Font and reflects their roots in print for newspapers and journalism. The icon, however, is recent from the last 5-10 years. The four colours reflect the sectors they have onsite at their Adamsway address.
WEBSITE
The animations in the background are taken from the logo showing how the sectors work individually but, how they also work together to form one outcome. The colours also being used for the pages relating to that sector. The overall design of the website is like a microcosm of the buildings they operate from. The use of grey as a background colour reflects the metal beams and corrugated sheets of their factory and office buildings. The vast collections of photographs showing the employees innovating new ideas etc reflects the huge glass windows of the Create and Evaluate building. Then finally, the sector colours are used for the large signage of each of the buildings.
