(B2) FINAL DESIGN PRESENTATION

  • Hussaine had also been working on the development of the six fly posters
  • As a group, we decided his were the stronger designs so I offered to make a start on the deck. Even though the time had passed to present Angus our work, I thought it would be good practice to do this, at least to give us an idea on how to apply this to our other briefs and 602
  • I wanted to bring some of our design into the presentation of the deliverables. Even though my large cubic tesselation was not used in the final designs, it had the same characteristics as our other designs so, I thought it would look good in the background and tie all of the pages together
  • The hardest part was trying to lay the designs and text out in an organised and professional way
  • For the 16:9 pages, I used a modular grid of 6x3, keeping the type to the right two columns
  • The rationale page had the text centred because there was no imagery other than the background design
  • I originally had the typesetting on left-aligned, however, the creep on some of the paragraphs looked awful and unprofessional so, I tried left-aligned justified and it looked a lot tidier.
  • The group was happy with this and it became our final complement of designs.
