PEER CRITIQUE

I provided some questions before my peer critique:

Should I carry on with the scanner idea or just use the apps for the projections?

I asked this because looking at timescale, it may be difficult to design for both and I do not want this to limit the quality of the design. 

Should I keep the logo design I like or should I try to develop another? If so which one out of the initial sketches could I focus on? 

How should I bring this all together, could I put it into a design pitch or an app prototype? 

The response was of the consensus that I should try developing one of my other logo designs instead of the one I thought was the most effective. They did agree that it was the most engaging but, the colours were just off. It was also said that I should carry on with the scanner idea and use the lumeti scopes as a design element for the app. Then instead of a design pitch, compile it into an app prototype with the transitions and actions.

(B5) GOTHIC ARCHITECTURE VISUAL INFOGRAPHIC

  This online infographic was a huge influence on this project and one of the first designs that I looked at. I love how the design is minimal but also shows the detail and extravagance of Gothic Architecture.  It is interesting to look at and has come away from the typical academic, historical article. Instead, the designer has gone for a sleek professional design that is easy to engage with and understand.  There are a lot of technical components to Gothic Architecture and I think this approach is probably the most effective for me to use within my own project. I am aiming my designs at people who live and commute through Leeds, which is a huge amount of people from all sorts of different demographics. (B5) GOTHIC ARCHITECTURE: KEY TERMINOLOGY

In order to understand the texts related to Gothic architecture, I really need to understand the terminology as I aforementioned when looking at the previous text. I will be listing definitions along the way to better understand.
