THREE DIMENSIONAL MOCK UPS

  • When I was looking at the graphic designers across Youtube who were using Adobe XD, many of them recommended using a 3D mockup software called Rotato. It works as a plugin on XD which allows you to import the design straight to Rotato and into a mockup. 
  • I realised here that the white frame I had was cut off at the bottom corners. So, I went to edit that and used one of the stills within the QR code poster design. 
  • Once the app design is complete, I aim to mock a lot of the pages up in Rotato, especially for my design boards.

  This online infographic was a huge influence on this project and one of the first designs that I looked at. I love how the design is minimal but also shows the detail and extravagance of Gothic Architecture.  It is interesting to look at and has come away from the typical academic, historical article. Instead, the designer has gone for a sleek professional design that is easy to engage with and understand.  There are a lot of technical components to Gothic Architecture and I think this approach is probably the most effective for me to use within my own project. I am aiming my designs at people who live and commute through Leeds, which is a huge amount of people from all sorts of different demographics. In order to understand the texts related to Gothic architecture, I really need to understand the terminology as I aforementioned when looking at the previous text. I will be listing definitions along the way to better understand.
