BRIEF ONE (B1): BPD AWARENESS

This is an internal collaboration brief with Nik Raisa Azen. As I have said in my statement of intent, I enjoy designing for a cause, in this case, it is for Borderline Personality Disorder awareness and its stigma. We chose this because the two of us suffer with BPD and is one of the things that brought us together. We have experienced what it is like to live with the disorder and the stigma that comes along with it. Part of our research will come from our personal experiences however, we are aware that not everyone suffers with it the same way and how other people perceive it. Fortunately, there are many online groups/ forums that can be accessed where people regularly post about their experiences and hardships of the disorder, which will play a crucial part in our research. Having had a discussion on possible outcomes for this brief, we decided to design a series of posters that could be compiled into a zine that features people living with BPD's stories and experiences, this is subject to change. 

We decided at the start to delegate certain tasks to one another so there was no overlapping, especially with research. It would only waste time if we were both doing the same thing. With the initial ideas, we both will produce our own and will come together and decide which ideas to persue and who will develop what.

Gothic style can vary depending on location, age and the type of building (the purpose as such). In order to understand the texts related to Gothic architecture, I really need to understand the terminology as I aforementioned when looking at the previous text. I will be listing definitions along the way to better understand.
